Learning Together

Year 3 have been doing great experiments for science week. We talked to some of the pupils on what they thought. They really enjoyed science week and would really like to do it again.

They built a volcano shaped out of lego for the base. They put some baking powder in, then they added some vinegar, they ran back as it burst out of the volcano.

They have been very lucky to have some special people come in and speak to them. The first person they had was Dawn Dickens to talk about wildlife and how to care for animals. The next visitor they had was a nurse who spoke about hygiene and health.

They also made a chocolate rock where they grated chocolate and rolled it together to made a rock formation. They enjoyed it a lot! Well done year 3, we can tell you had a great science week!
