Braddan School

Learning Together

PATHS is a new programme that the whole school will be getting involved in this year. PATHS stands for Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies. It is a series of lessons which is designed to help children develop their emotional awareness, self-control, anger management, social skills and friendships. By doing this children are more able to focus on their learning and, as schools who have used the PATHS programme have found, make better progress. PATHS lessons will take place twice a week, and sometimes there is a short home learning task to complete.
