Holly and Oak Classes (Year 5 & 6) went to Mars today - at the Peel Cathedral. It was very interesting seeing the craters and the valleys that cover Mars and learning about those who have had an impact on space knowledge over time. Rosemary, our guide, shared numerous facts and helped the classes locate the Mars Rover, Opportunity and the largest volcano in our galaxy, Olympus Mons. She even pointed out the smiley faced crater - can you spot it in the photos? Thank you to all our parents and grandparents who helped transport and supervise - it was greatly appreciated.
